Sunny Apocalypse is a civic education and action project for regular people living through extremely irregular times.
I turn complicated US government systems, political manipulation, economic nonsense, and breaking national crises into plain-language explanations, practical actions, call scripts, and shareable art.
The goal is not to keep you frightened, furious, and scrolling.
The goal is to help us understand what is happening, find one another, and act together.
Democracy is an action verb. Let’s get to it!

The world communicates on Twitter. Despite the want to not be on that platform, I have seen communities move the narrative in days. Scott Jennings said a lie about chatting up a missing Mitch McConnell the evening of Tuesday, July 7, 2026. The jokes rolled all night long. Spurred the KY govenor to do something. A very sus image was released Saturday the 11th. Let’s do more of this. 🫡🇺🇸
A functioning digital armi with ties to nafo. Pick your handle like Liam Nissan. It’s a mash of famous person and something automobile. Get rolling.

Sunny Apocalypse is a civic educator, artist, and cultural commentator shaped by lived experience. Sunny has worked as a local civic leader, served on a Democratic 2024 campaign, and had a pretty decent career inside corporate systems for 25 years where power is concentrated and employees are gaslit. Those worlds taught her how institutions really function-and how easily people are trained to accept what feels wrong. Today, Sunny blends grassroots organizing, campaign experience, art, and adult education to make American politics understandable and human-scale. Her work uses plain language, retro social studies visuals,
and practical actions to help people stay engaged. Sunny believes democracy survives through clarity, community, and care for one another. I’m not a democrat, nor republican, I’m an American. LFG!!!!
